2nd largest supplier of home textiles to the European Union and 3rd largest home textiles exporter in the world, Turkey is to attract a great deal of attention with 157 firms to participate in the international Heimtextil fair (Frankfurt Jan. 9th-12th 2008). Turkish home textile exports have certainly decreased but the sales in Turkey have increased, due to the expansion of tourism and building sectors.
