After Benetton and Martinelli Ginetto, another Italian group is to reinforce its production capacity in Tunisia to further proximity sourcing. Niggeler & Kupfer (NK) has taken over former ICAB (also known as SITER), which has started up again in 2008 as Tissage Finissage Mediterranéens (TFM).
NK, which has set up in Tunisia since 1997, also owns a weaving unit on Ksar Said industrial estate and two spinning units in Boumerdess. TFM's production should meet the needs of the international demand, as well as the local one, especially public procurement.
